Starbucks can't compare. It's the only espresso bean we use. Great smooth taste with a beautiful golden "crema."
I'm not alone in using these beans for making "regular coffee" (not espresso process). Definitely consider giving it a try. Reading some of the other reviews. This coffee is awesome; it has a nice, strong (yet smooth) flavor.
make no mistakes, it's sweet, smooth, and smells like heaven. you won't regret it. if you had to choose a decent espresso with an excellent crema, this is the only choice. I've tried plenty of different blends, but my wife won't drink anything else.buy the 3pk and enjoy yourself.
